g45CALENDAR

CALENDAR CARD
Forgotten a Christmas card?  No worries, there's always New Year, and what better way to celebrate it than with a card with a small calendar attached.

Better still, if you keep it simple like this one, using a pretty Graphic45 paper, a diecut flourish, a punched flower and a couple of adhesive pearls, it will take you no time at all to make.

As usual the whole thing is assembled on a Regal base card.

VERY QUICK CARDS FOR CHRISTMAS

Well, if you're still making Christmas cards now, I'm assuming you're in a bit of a rush so these three cards from Marty will hopefully provide the inspiration you need.

Regal is closed for the Christmas break from today until January 3rd so sadly you won't  be able to rush down for paper, but raid your collection and you might be pleasantly surprised.  It doesn't have to be completely Christmassy - just using red green and gold can reference the season.

Use Marty's example as "card sketches" and off you go!  The time starts now...............

CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS

A BOX OF CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS
Sharon has decorated a plain white box and filled it with little gift cards, featuring Kaier's "Frosted" papers, and a variety of small embellishments.

These are just perfect for labelling presents, but also make a great gift in themselves.  You don't have to stick to a Christmas theme as gift cards are useful all year round!

Just a reminder for those last minute shoppers, Regal will be closed next Friday and Saturday, so if you need gift vouchers or presents, shop early.  Regal re opens on Tuesday January 3rd.

MORE PRETTY PICKPOINT CARDS

PICKPOINT CARDS FOR CHRISTMAS
You might just have time to make these before Christmas if you start right now, but if not, if you have some time to relax in the next few weeks. why not get started super early for next year.  All the supplies are available from Regal.

A big thankyou to Sandra Bell, who has generously allowed me to share her beautiful work throughout the year.

TWO MORE CHRISTMAS CARDS TO MAKE

ANOTHER QUICK CHRISTMAS CARD
MERRY AND BRIGHT
This is a very different look to last weeks cards, but the same idea applies - choose some patterned paper and let it guide your card design.  Marilyn has added some matting and trim to Kaiser papers on Regal base cards for these quick cards - another example of how Christmas is not longer defined by strictly traditional colours.

FRIDAY UPDATE

If you're in the midst of that sort of pre-Christmas muddle I usually find myself in, regarding presents, I can recommend a trip to Regal to sort out your crafty friends - there are lovely things from under ten dollars such as glitter tapes, punches, embossing folders, and so on, through the middle price range to albums, heat guns, Tasmanian pen sets etc, right through to the  higher end of the scale (but still under $100) eg Tombow marker sets, Kaiser planners and punchboards. Go Cut and Emboss machines include all the plates to get started with embossing and diecutting and are just $125.00.  Regal blank cards always make a great present, and what crafter doesn't love a gift voucher so they can chose there own supplies.  As I said......something for everyone!  If you have potentially bored kids at home for the holidays try a Bright Ideas pack for just $5.00 - they're full of little bits and pieces for papercrafting projects.

I've finally almost finished making my Christmas cards and have resolved to do them earlier in 2017,(which is pretty much what I do about this time each year).  I just have a couple of presents left to buy and then its all good!  Hope that however you celebrate this time of year (and even if you don't) that things are going smoothly and there's at least a little bit of time left over to play with crafty things!

CALENDAR AND CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH PATTERNED PAPER

SIDESTEPPER CALENDAR
Marty made these using Regal craft cards as bases, and papers from the Kaiser Christmas Wishes Collections.

No difficult techniques here - just a good eye for composition and neat cutting!  You can have similar results with any decorative paper of your choice, using Marty's work as a template.
THREE QUICK CHRISTMAS CARDS

FRIDAY UPDATE

Summer's here at last, and at risk of stating the obvious Christmas is just around the corner.  Kaiser have brought out some planners and accessories that would make great gifts.  The December release from Kaiser is in at Regal now - one a very romantic theme, and the other marine.  There is also the cutest new paper set from South African company, FabScraps ideal for little people, as well as some that are themed around endangered animals.  The latter is quite different from the other papers I've seen of late.

Just for people who really like to plan ahead, Regal will be closed on Friday 23rd December, and will open again on Tuesday January 3rd, so if you have plans for crafting over the break it would be a good idea to shop early!  Times for 2017 demos have been set and cards showing the dates are available in the shop.
