LAST OF THE COOL CHRISTMAS COLOURS

Ivory is the last coloured card base in the Regal "Cool Christmas" pack, and also the last of three posts I've done with Christmas cards that don't use Christmas papers.

This one makes use of greeting dies from Kaiser and a Universal Christmas dies (although you could clearly use it at any time of the year).

A couple of techniques worth mentioning are firstly the "drop shadow" effect of slightly offsetting ivory components with gold, and also using an embossing tool and score board (or even with a ruler and soft mat) to add embossed lines to define areas within the card.  Also note the use of die-cuts in the same colour as the base card for an embossed effect.

The "Cool Christmas" collection includes base cards that are larger than standard size in five different modern Christmas colours.  Just by the by...although larger than the usual card they are still standard postage within Australia.
