BIRTHDAY CARD USING KAISER PAPERS

Marty has made an interesting card using papers from the Kaiser "Timeless" collection.

Notice how he has cut and inked the top panel, before reassembling it, so that all the diagonal lines draw attention to the greeting!

One of Regal's white singlefold cards (PL1) as been used as the base.

Hello, a super simple card from me this week.  All I've done is take a piece of paper from the Graphic 45 range which featured pocket watches and re-arrange it a bit.  The backing is the reverse of the paper.  The band of the watch is part of the border, as is the accent under the greeting.  A bit of "scissor surgery" has removed the tops from a couple of the pocket watches and turned one into the winder for the wrist watch and the other into the buckle.  I've punched three holes and added a strip of black to complete the band.  The seconds inset in the clock has been highlighted with Dimensional Magic, and three little adhesive pearls have been added to the peel-off greeting.  Its not quite a five minute card but it is very simple!!  As always I've used a Regal Card as the base - this time their black singlefold.

This is another nested cut-out card made by Roma.  Paper flowers, skeleton leaves and a delicate die-cut butterfly adorn the nested shapes.  A Sparklelight greeting sticker, and peel-off edging completes the card, which has used a white base card from Regal (embossed by Roma) as its base.  Subtle highlights have been added with Crystallina Kindiglitz

Here is another card from the demo on glitter an shine - a fairly subtle example in this instance.

The tree has been embossed onto pale blue paper using a Couture Creations folder in a Cuttlebug.  The trunk and branches have been coloured with white Smooch and the flowers with crystal Stickles.  A bow, some Green Tara lace and some tiny rhinestones have been added to finish off.

This card was constructed on the back of one of Regal's photo slot cards (leaving the back for a removable photo or special message) but could be made on any of the larger singlefolds.

Sometimes you just need to whip up some gift cards in a hurry and this is one example of how to go about it.

A sheet of 12 x 12 card (I used Pansy Bazzill - Regal 12BA74) can be cut into 6 pieces measuring 3 inches by 6 inches.  Score and fold in half and add a Sparklelight sticker (these ones are "Occasions" SLS 2003 also from Regal), and there you are.  There are even envelopes available if you need them.

That's five minutes work for 6 gift cards!!
