DRAGONFLY FAN BOOKMARK CARD

DRAGONFLY FAN BOOKMARK CARD
A card and a gift all in one this week.  I've been having fun with my EK Success dragonfly punch.  The fan-shaped bookmark is tied on with a ribbon.  A Regal three panel white textured card is used as a base so that The third panel can be folded back to hide the reverse of the ribbon.  The background is Spaklelight -  a lovely finely etched paper (also available from Regal) that shimmers in the light.  The embellishments are simply a sticker for the handle of the fan and some Kaiser rhinestones.

INSPIRATIONS CARD

INSPIRATONS CARD
Tania made this simple but elegant card using an "Inspirations" pack from Regal Craft Cards. (Look under the "Specials" section on their website....they will be there next week if not now, or you can get them in the shop). The pack contains cards and envelopes and the silver sparklelight papers already cut to size so you just add whatever backing and embellishment you want to complete the project.

Tania has added black corner peel-off stickers, some blue backing, hole punched leaves, rhinestone highlights and a silver peel of greeting to complete her card.

PATCHWORK HEART CARD

PATCHWORK HEART CARD
You can't get much easier that this patchwork heart card.  Start with one of Regal's Heart cut out cards in textured white.  Add some ribbon to the front, and pop a piece of paper doily and some pretty paper under the cut-out.  Add a lace flower and its done!!

DOILY DRESS CARD

DOILY DRESS CARD
This is a really simple card that I made using a white doily.  Cut two slits about 1/3 of the circle apart and then fold the edges inwards to make the skirt and bodice.  I added some rhinestones and ribbon and placed the dress onto one of Regal's rosebud cut out cards.  I put some black card behind the aperture and added a sticker to finish - all up about 15 minutes work!!

FLORAL COLLAGE CARD

COLLAGE CARD
Trudy Meijer made this fresh collage card, and kindly allowed us to share it on the blog.  She has combined hessian, adhesive leaves, punched flowers and a button tied with twine.  The base is a Regal burgundy single fold card.

TULIP AND DAISIES

This is a cute card, and easily made too. The base is a textured white singlefold card from Regal, and all the papers are shimmer colours.

Strips are cut into three different lengths and woven together.  (I've embossed them first but this is optional).  At each junction I've stuck a white daisy cut with a small hole punch and finished with an adhesive pearl.

The tulip is just a small square folded in half with the edges turned up and its middle and leaves are small hearts cut with a hole punch.  A narrow strip forms the stem.

This is all assembled on a piece of white card, mounted onto pale pink shimmer and finally stuck down to the base card.
Even although it looks complicated, as long as you have all the tools at hand this will only take, at the most, about ten minutes to complete!
